How we work - Session

In summary, the responsibility of the Session is to provide assistance to the Minister for the pastoral care of the congregation.

This includes:
    - Receiving new members into the church family.
    - Supervising the work of Christian Education within the congregation.
    - Providing support and administration for Baptism and Communion.
    - Making decisions regarding the times and format of worship services
    - Keeping the congregation informed about the work being carried out under the direction and
      authority of the General Assembly, its boards, and committees.

The Session is currently made up of 10 elders and Pastor Fred Stewart.

The Session holds a closed meeting on the fourth Thursday of every month, where the programs and activities of the church and its committees are reviewed, and new directions and initiatives are planned.
