Our programs include....
Parents can attend the service knowing their most precious are in good hands.
On Sundays, children sit with their parents at the start of the church service, and then are led downstairs for their own program after "Children's Time".
KidZone includes about 25 minutes of singing and sharing the Bible story through drama or a video. This large group activity, with all of the children, focuses on a main theme and Bible verse for each month. They are shown how to apply the theme to their own lives.
The children are then divided into smaller groups by grade: Primary (JK/SK) Junior (grades 1,2,3) and Elementary (grades 4,5,6). The teacher for each small group has discussions with the children to emphasize the key points of the lesson. They use games, crafts, and other activities to keep the children excited about learning and applying what they've learned to their own lives.
At the end of the church service, parents can talk with their child's teacher. Each week, an activity card is sent home with each child, giving the child and their family some activities to do during the week. The curriculum, 252 Basics, was chosen because of its approach to empowering parents to encourage spiritual growth with their children. At Amberlea Church we have only 52 hours per year to teach children about God, while families have so much more time to teach their children. It is our hope that families will learn about Jesus and strengthen their relationship with Jesus together.

Past meetings have included bowling, mini-putt, making pizzas, movie night, games night, Wii tournaments, and out-of-town trips.
